"The hotel is very old-fashioned but I later realized it was built in the mid 1800s so perhaps it’s actually in a very good state. The only thing I didn’t like is that my stay was during Storm Austen, so at night the (old fashioned) window and the entire room was shaking and it was very hard to sleep. But that was, of course, more due to how bad the storm was. Other than that, the room was great. The bathroom was huge and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. The kettle in the room was perhaps...

"A wonderful hotel with huge rooms to stay in and very friendly service. Breakfast was delicious. Enough parking."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the bar area was great and the view from the bar exceptional overlooking the beach."

"Polite and attentive for the duration of the stay. Room was exactly as described and shown in images. Very respectable B&B."

"The bed was clean but uncomfortable. The shower was definitely not cleaned thoroughly as there was a booger on the wall inside and there was a razor left behind. Views and location were great. Staff were kind and helpful, but for the price, this stay was not comfortable."

"Hotel was in a great location the staff were friendly room was basic but clean with a nice comfy bed there was tea coffee and complimentary water The shower was a bit temperamental running hot and cold The toilet was quite loose the screws were hanging out also the window wouldn't open as the handle was broke but I only mentioned this in checkout but this didn't bother me I'm sure they would have sorted it or moved me to another room if I would have asked them at the beginning For the...

"Good budget hotel with helpful, friendly staff."

"The room was fairly basic but having a fridge and microwave as well as a kettle was useful. The walk-in shower was fine provided you weren’t large. A towel rail in the bathroom would have been helpful."

"A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!"

"I have stayed in hotels all over the world this remains one of my favorites. The quaint hotel rooms give amazing views of St. Ives and the Bay. Just Beautiful."

"Super friendly and helpful welcome. Room had everything I needed for a couple of nights, and the coffee machine was a very welcome bonus. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection with hot food cooked to order."
