"I came with my young kids and elderly parents. This hotel has such a rich history, it was an amazing experience. Yes it is not the fancy modern style hotel, but it is incredibly well maintained. The rooms are spacious, the lobby very grandeur with wonderful live piano/violin concert every night (yes, every night). The buffet breakfast/lunch was wonderful. The view outside is so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again."

"We were greeted with afternoon tea which was really nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. They even drew a diagram of where the bottled water was placed in the room (the refrigerator and water was inside a wall cabinet that we had not noticed). They arranged for airport transportation for us. The room was clean and comfortable. There were several restaurants and the metro within walking distance. Our room was on a high floor, so it was quiet. All in all, a nice hotel for our last night in Taipei."
