"We were greeted with afternoon tea which was really nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. They even drew a diagram of where the bottled water was placed in the room (the refrigerator and water was inside a wall cabinet that we had not noticed). "On the one hand, it is fun to stay in this beautiful building. Views are impressive both of the hotel itself and the city of Taipei. However, I felt that the staff was overwhelmed and weren't very welcoming. Breakfast wasn't included and the buffet was pricey. I suggest visiting in the evening and staying elsewhere. That way, you'll still be able to take in the best parts."
