"Customer service was excellent from the moment we walked in to the moment we left with few exceptions. Easy to get restaurant reservations and flexible, understanding when we ran late but still accommodated us with friendly service. Night time entertainment could’ve been better. Drinks were good. Place was clean. Be warned that the cute critters can get into patio doors no matter what floor you’re on. Would return even though not a fan of bigger resorts because the staff was that good!"

If it is your first time going to playa del Carmen I recommend you stay here as they will give you recommendations on what to do and let you know where you can get information to do activities! Jennifer at the privilege lounge helped us so much with easy check in and check out and made everything a smooth process:) Lilliana (the butler) was very attentive and kind, anytime we would see her around the resort she always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help us:) "

"Honestly the experience here was very nice and I had a great time with family. It’s like Disneyland in Mexico. The food is all inclusive so it’s not the bestest. Breakfast had the best meals."

"The property is not very convenient for wheelchair-bound people to reach some places. Sometimes different staff gives the visitors contradictory information about how to get to certain places on the property. Turning on TVs and using the phone may be an issue. It took four days of attempts to solve the problem with the TV working with the Apple platform. Xcaret Arte app does not provide GPS orientation for visitors to the property. One staff said that the GPS is not working there but we never saw a GPS interruption on our devices. Drink and snack refills sometimes fail in the room. The food in one of the requested room services was not fresh: reheated and tasteless meat and cold soup. No salt and pepper included. But in general, our stay experience was great. Special greetings to Adrian and the other guy at the Changarrito bar near the ocean beach. "

"Very happy with our first stay. Had an amazing family vacation. The staff was so friendly and the service was great. Too many great people to count. But all we're amazing. Huge thank you to Alejandro at the front desk, super welcoming right from the start and very helpful. Also Rene at front desk was great. Our life guard Leo at Royal Sands was super friendly, very informative and fun to talk with, as well as the life guards at Royal Haciendas which helped make our time at beaches more enjoyable. Great service with food and drinks at both beaches especially at the Royal Sands. Teo with rentals at Royal Sands was very friendly and helpful. Servers like Abel in the buffet were great with great food as well. Concierges like Mike and Alfee were very friendly and helpful when we had questions which was great because I wasn't to impressed with mine. Overall all of the staff was great. Jessica in the laundry was beyond friendly and a real joy to talk to. Resort was great for families and we enjoyed it all. Will be coming back. "
