Xel-Ha was a cool adventure park with snorkeling the natural estuary as the main attraction. Saw tons of fish including two grouper of 4 feet or more, zip lines into the water, cliff diving, and many other neat attractions. Well worth a visit.

"We stayed at Corto Maltes for a week, starting 7/8/13, room 204. The place has "good bones" but needs some upkeep to be really top-notch. A new coat of paint would be a start. This is a condo that is rented out by the owners and managed by the staff at El Faro - those folks were pleasant but did not solve some of the issues that needed attention. The electronic equipment wasn't functioning (tv in the master bedroom didn't work, tv in the living room was semi- functional, stereo was balky) but El...

"Although the accommodations were acceptable, we did have a few issues with our stay. For one, the management at El Faro All Suites Resort was very adamant about us taking a 1.5 hour sales pitch of their units – even after we told them we were not interested. They were everywhere: on the street, even followed us to the beach trying to convince us to take the sales tour. "Really enjoyed my stay here at this property, wish I could have had more time to explore it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The areas were kept clean. The Xplor park was my favorite! However I wish it was communicated or advertised somewhere that Xoximilco and Xel Ha was a great distance from Xcaret Arte Having an hour plus trip there and back wasn’t in my schedule and took away time from enjoying the Xcaret Arte property as I had planned. I definitely will be taking another trip to Xcaret Arte! "
