"Really lovely room, older style, well priced hotel in the very centre of Andover. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Because the room was on the front, sadly, it was noisy at night - the Redbridge pub is open until 11pm most nights, midnight on Thursdays and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays !!!! "The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"Very friendly people"

The bed and bed linen was good and the (small) bathroom attractively fitted out. But beneath the surface there are obvious problems. The foyer had a bad damp smell. The heating consists of an air conditioning unit in each room, which was noisy and not particularly effective. The electric towel rail did not heat up. The coldness...

"I have stayed a few times over the years and i think its a great value pub with rooms i stayed 3 nights and my room was good as always, the team were all good and i would recommend to friends and family without hesitation."

"regarding our family's stay at Kings Head on the night of 21st October 2026. What should have been a joyful celebration of my husband’s graduation turned into a distressing and medically unsafe experience for our family. Upon arrival, we discovered that there was no heating functioning in our room. As we explicitly informed both the manager and another member of staff at check-in, our two young daughters have sickle cell disease. Cold temperatures are a direct physical trigger for severe sickle...
