"We were thrilled with this hotel from our arrival. We were met at the door by an amazing employee, who helped us with our luggage, helped us get checked in, brought our luggage to our room quickly, and was such a pleasure. The rooms are clean and very spacious, but you can tell that the hotel is older. The "stand-up" shower was very small, but there was shower capability in the tub that worked for my husband. The breakfast was nice, but very "English", which limited choices for Americans. All...

"The receptionist was most unhelpful when we enquired about parking. We were advised to park (illegally) in the loading zone at the entrance, then later told to go to the hotel carpark, which we found locked and full. Then tried public car parks which were full, and finally returned to the illegal park at the front of the hotel. Eventually, after we had dined, we found space in a public car park - just as well I don't drink! All the other staff we encountered were wonderful. "
