The Queen Anne house was fantastic - we loved the appearance and the quirky layout! The free on-site parking was a great help and it was a very easy walk down the hill into the town. The beds were beautifully comfortable and we had everything we needed in our room. St. John's Croft is an ideal place to stay for a one-night visit to Winchester and we certainly enjoyed our stay.

A large, historic house right at the edge of the centre of Winchester. Parking adjacent to the house. Five minute walk to High St. Quirky furniture and collected antiques make this more interesting than the average B&B. Dotty & Nick are excellent hosts, friendly and communicative. Great breakfasts!

Beautiful period property, with parking but within walking distance of Winchester town. Our party had 2 bedrooms both of which were large and light. Each bedroom had a bathrooms very close to the rooms. Everything was marvellously clean. Best thing was Dotty makes a most marvellous and plentiful breakfast and is so kind and helpful, you'll be in good hands!

Absolutely superb place to stay and amazing hosts. Excellently located to stroll into Winchester. Parking available and Dotty couldn’t do enough for us, whilst giving us space to chill. Superb breakfast cooked to order too. Highly recommended

Excellent location. Beautiful place. Such kind hosts. Great accommodation. My room was upstairs. The view was beautiful. The whole place is amazing. My only complaint is that my kitchen isn’t as stunning as theirs. All around amazing is all I can say.

The accommodation was absolutely beautiful. Greeted by the lovely Rosie, she made us feel very welcome. Had a lovely breakfast cooked fresh with plenty of options. The room was very nice and over looked the beautiful garden. Perfect location, only 5 mins into the local town. Would definitely stay again.
