"It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

"Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking.
3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine.
The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.
The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."

"Wonderful short break in the Forest on the green, shared with the grazing sheep and chickens! Property superb and all as listed with the owner extremely personable and attentive and could not do enough for us when we arrived late on a Sunday looking for dinner! We would have no hesitation in recommending this cosy cottage as a great base for your adventures in the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley and we look forward to returning again one day."

"We had a lovely relaxing stay to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary at this beautifully presented property. Lisa and Neal were perfect hosts who had put aot of thought and effort into making the accommodation a pleasure to stay in and the countryside view were amazing. The hot tub was a welcome treat too.Very well located, We visited Symonds Yat, Monmouth and the Clearwell Caves and also had a great meal at the Dog and Muffler Inn - all highly recommended and worth visiting. We look forward to returning in the not to distant future"
"Beautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day."
"Excellent comfortable bed in large room. We had the king room, it was spotless and had everything you need, even a gusto coffee maker ! Food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the delicious breakfast.

"Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!"
