"Excellent location for those without a car. Situated alongside the Ryde public transport hub which includes train, bus & hovercraft options. A once very elegant hotel now perhaps a little tired but still full of charm. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was beautifully cooked traditional English fare."

"Excellent location. Description was accurate. Response from Agency was very quick and helpful.Pet friendly with no extra charge. Comfy bed in the main bedroom. Ware and tear in a few areas, but didn't affect our stay.Older house, so all rooms were spaciousHighly recommended, will definitely stay again.Good value for money too."

"It certainly was a cosy stay. Lovely and warm on entering which was good as it was sheeting rain as we arrived! The house is really well equipped, quiet and well located. The only negative things I’d say are that the furnishings and paintwork are looking a little tired in places. Curtains not hanging on hooks, paintwork chipped, bathroom needs some tlc, outside entrance area again just a bit scruffy but overall fine. "
