"Room was small even when we upgraded to the executive. Also expensive and aged. The bathroom fixtures and TV were particularly dated. The ‘free’ breakfast wasn’t really a free breakfast but instead a bagel and a cup of coffee. I paid a lot for this stay and was very disappointed."

"The room wasn't very clean. I think the sheets were changed and vacuumed but it was very dusty, dirty, and the ice bucket still had the last person's leftovers. The TV only worked about 40% of the time - which when you need to spend time in the room and watch the World Cup, this was really disappointing. The phone didn't work either so we had to call the front desk using our cellphones. The rooms ran really hot, we had the thermostat set to 65 and it was still hot. I have no idea what that...

"The rooms were definitely outdated, including some of the elevators. The lounge was real grand and beautiful and smells amazing. I understand that this building tries to maintain the history of the building, but personally the color choice of the rooms, hallways and every lighting in elevators could be better to match the same vibe as the lounge, and not make it seem outdated and creepy."

"It’s looks really regal and all the gold accents were so nice to see around. The staff were all amazing like Jose, Edmond, and Saleem. They were so helpful when it came to parking and even getting my luggage (it was a lot) up to my floor. The only thing that was frustrating was the restaurant because even though it’s inside the hotel, I didn’t know we had to reserve a seat (which is understandable) but as a guest I just thought we could just go whenever it was available."
