"This was a great stay, however, we came from out of town, when we arrived we asked the front desk staff if we needed a reservation for the Restaurant for dinner, when we arrived we asked again, as we were leaving to explore the city, were told we did not. So when we came back, after a lot of walking, and by now very hungry we try to get a seat and was told they have no opening until after 9:00 PM.. On a Saturday night in Chi town, you won’t just be able to get a table anywhere, we did not wanted to drive anywhere neither. So that was a big inconvenience ."

"Lovely property in prime location on The Loop. All staff from bellmen (Lucas), to front desk, to restaurant…even maintenance were awesome. On the latter, we had a minor shower draining issue. We reported it to front desk when we left for the day @9:20. When we returned later in the day, there was a card from maintenance (Matt) @9:40 left on vanity, telling us repairs were completed. Fast service & nice touch on the card to let us know! We would highly recommend Royal Sonesta!"
