Mountain Side Home with Spectacular Views!! 2bd-2ba - 420 & Dog Friendly + AC !!

Clean, quiet, updated, and close to town

"We had a beautiful stay. This property had absolutely everything we could have wanted for a quiet getaway. From the brand new construction to the small details like quality fans in every room, it felt so welcoming and relaxing. The two bedrooms are also on opposite ends of the house, so there is plenty of space not to hear someone, even if they are the loudest snorer! I loved the seating in the back with a spectacular view, though I would definitely suggest NOT using the little fire pit! It really should not be there- the whole valley is a tinderbox and often has a total fire ban. I hope the owners consider removing that for everyone's safety. I also loved how close it was to the Ashram. I will definitely be staying here the next time I need a retreat."

The Stargazer-Your private retreat in the mountains!

Great views!

"This place had amazing views and was just what we were looking for to use as a short stay on our way home from the Ouray area and to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park before leaving Colorado back to Wisconsin. The owner answered all questions both leading up to the trip, and while staying at the house. Be prepared, there is not much of anything in the area for shops or food, but there is a dollar general 20 minutes away and a great place for food named "Food is art". They treated my family of 7 wonderfully! Walmart and other major places are about an hour away. The great sand dunes were about an hour away as well, but Crestone was the closest area with rental homes and we were not disappointed. One more tip... DO NOT WEAR SANDLES TO THE DUNES. Wear shoes and socks. The sand was hot! But so worth the trip!"

Crestone stay

"Super neat home. This place has lots of character and a very accessible layout. Beautiful views all the way around. There was no air conditioning so it was a little stuffy at first but after we got the windows opened up it cooled off really nicely that first evening. "

Beautiful Location

"The pictures online are fabulous, but when we arrived and walked out on the back patio, we could not believe how gorgeous the property is! We had a great time exploring and relaxing outside. We loved that it was close to trails and spent several days exploring those trails. The location makes you feel far away from everything, even though it is just a quick trip into town for anything you could need or want. "

Charming Crestone Mountain Cottage- 1 mile from town!

Great Spot

"Quick stay, but we loved that it was off the beaten path. Super clean. No AC, so warmer than we’re used to, but I knew that going in. Only surprise was the sheer number of mosquitos. Wow. But we used bug spray and moved along (and obviously that’s just nature and the season, certainly not a knock on the property). Would definitely recommend as a home base to explore the valley. "

Eclectic Adobe Crestone Cottage w/ Patio + Yard!

Beautiful house

"We stayed for three nights with our two kids, 4 and 6 y/o. It's a great house, beautifully decorated. I LOVE all of the plants. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, coffee grinder etc. The outdoor spaces are nice as well, although I'll admit that there were sooo many mosquitoes/bugs all day that we really couldn't use it. No AC, but it worked fine as long as we closed windows in the morning and opened them as soon as we could in the evening. Fans in the windows helped as well. The property owner was responsive via text when we had questions. FYI, there is an automatic damage protection fee that gets added that I don't recall encountering for other VRBOs, so I found that odd. But it was still a great find and we enjoyed it. Sand dunes are an hour away, and the alligator park is about 30 minutes away. Would recommend!"
