"Excellent gym. Brilliant helpful gym staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfy spacious room."

"The accommodation was very high spec and lovely. Situated a 10 minute walk into town with supermarkets near by. Check in was very easy and ready to park too. Plenty of scenery to look at in the area too."

"Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi. Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation."

"Whole place was immacluate and presented really well. Really nice location, too!"

"Everything was perfect, including the breakfast. We would definitely come back, what a gem of a place."

"We would go back."

"Great location, close to everything. Staff wasn’t out of the way to assist us. Amazing lunch snacks for FREE! Probably would cost four or more pounds elsewhere. Could not have been more satisfying"

This was basic, but ok, but the heating wasn't working in that building. Soaking wet after 20mile walk. Staff eventually moved us to another private room, 4 bed, in the main building. On arrival at 5pm was told to order dinner before 6.30pm as there was a large group booked in at 7pm. So we did at 6.00pm only to be told the chef was now...

"Great stay, kids pool was good quite quiet in the morning which was nice for the baby! All clean and great service."

"Well kept, luxurious stay in an idyllic location. The food, drink and amenities were fantastic. Highly recommend."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel - fabulous food. Exceptionally clean room, lovely bar, excellent food. Definitely will be returning."
