We were driving around and came across this beautiful little church on a hill. We decided to walk to it through a hail storm. It is a 12th century church and is the highest church in England. The rock that it rests on is formed from basaltic lava which was formed 350 million years ago in a shallow sea. It is unusual as the rest of the moor is mostly made of granite.

"What a lovely place and very wonderful view. Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming. We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable.
