"The Waterfront is a 2 minute walk from the sea. Not quite overlooking it but almost. We had a deluxe double and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfy. We had skylights which kept the room and large bathroom lovely and bright. There’s an extensive restaurant and bar within the hotel, which looks like you’d never have trouble getting a table, although we didn’t use it during our stay. "Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast. Would highly recommend. "

The walled terrace area is excellent for outside dog security with lovely views and peaceful surroundings.
