"Unfortunately there was no shower in my ensuite and I was too fussy to use the shared shower, also it was too noisy for me as I was working long shifts so I had to cancel after the first night. However the pub downstairs looked really busy and welcoming & the staff were absolutely fantastic."
"Place was closed and locked when we arrived. Had to call sister accommodation to try and open it up. First night we were the only people in the place. Stayed two nights. I never saw a single member of staff the whole time"
"Fab place, no cars and feels really special with gorgeous grounds and lots of space. The pod was clean, bed and bedsheets clean and crisp. Enough pots, plates, cutlery etc to manage and spacious. Toilet/shower was clean with good water pressure. We had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend. 2 adults and 2 tweens, they slept on fishermen padded camp beds."
"Suited my needs perfectly!! The room was small but adequate for me as a single traveller for an overnight stay. The hosts are helpful and accommodating. There is a fridge and a microwave in the room which proved useful and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was pristine with a walk in shower. "Such a great stay with family. The facilities are great, lots of games and space to get together and relax. Room were beautiful with lovely bathrooms. Staff were really genuine and super helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed and homey place still local to lots of things to do."
"We had a fantastic stay! Sarah was such a warm and welcoming host from the moment we arrived. The beachfront location is absolutely stunning waking up right by the beach made the trip so special.
Our room was spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. To top it off, breakfast each morning was amazing! Plus, being able to bring our spaniel along made it the perfect getaway for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return."
"Room great quiet in hotel but noisy outside. I stayed on a Sunday night although I couldn't hear cars there a loud motor bike kept joy riding around the roundabout up Union Street and then up Royal Perade this went on for a 1hr.
Not the hotel fault but it did mess up my sleep as this was going on 1am to 2 am"
"I had no wifi as there isnt in Foxes Den at first i was disconcerted then enjoyed reading and sitting outside instead of infront of the TV. It was just what I needed"
"This was an absolute find - what an amazing experience, it felt like we were on a mini retreat im the most beautiful surroundings. The cows in the field and the sunset to watch - all whilst enjoying a glass of fizz in the hot tub. A totally zen experience. My 2 dogs found the whole experience top notch too! A huge personal thanks go to the owners who went above and beyond to help me out after a little car trouble - kindness like that is really quite special - thank you again for a lovely stay."
