"Excellent Hotel and rooms as well as very friendly staff. Breakfast options were great as well. The only downside was that their onsite restaurants did not offer very much in terms of vegetarian food options. So, we had to travel into town for meals. The hotel is away from the main town area. Otherwise, the stay was really comfortable. "

"The room was nicely spacious compared to others and luckily had a laundry room on bottom floor, which was busy but did help when I needed to run a load due to weather soaking me. Location was great as it was already close to 2 attractions in Kyoto and near the station to get anywhere else and had a wonderful service to shuttle over to the bamboo forest which was much better than looping around on the subways. also about 2 doors down was a Kyoto Coop which had food and drinks i could pick up as i leave/came back from a long day. to note i am 6 foot 8 inches or 2meters and the bathroom and bed length were good enough for me which was a plus."
