"Hotel is located on a quiet street but in walking distance to major attractions and the main streets. Hotel students are very friendly and we liked breakfast options. We also used shuttle from and to the train station which runs every hour. Overall a great stay!"

"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Staff are exceedingly helpful and respectful. The room, a family apartment, was beautiful and situated in a gorgeous, quiet part of Kyoto. There are several amazing coffee shops and restaurants nearby including French, an Italian coffee shop, a gyoza cooking experience (highly recommended!!), and the best teppenyaki spot. It was always very easy to get a taxi or hop on a bike or go for a walk. It’s located so close to Nijo Castle. Fantastic location, upscale neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again. "
