"Excellent all round"

"Staff were friendly but hotel is a little run down, lift buttons don't work, rooms a bit outdated, drippy bath, dim lights, not many plug sockets etc. Rooms hot and window only opens an inch. Nearby road is very loud especially in morning. Breakfast was decent. "

"I didn’t come by car because the parking cost a fortune but the gates were closed for my Uber driver when I arrived. Room was not all clean and the TV had no working remotes. Some of the power sockets were broken and yes the staff asked me for ID and payment for a booking that I had already paid for which they then amended. Food not terrible but hygiene standards poor, took ages to arrive and it cost a fortune. I had to ask for a keycard several times for the room because it kept on not working and locking me out all the time. Views and scenery are nice but fake astroturfing and flowers not needed. Defiantly a 1 star but trying to be a 2 star Hotel. Glad they sorted the bedbugs out from the list of terrible reviews they’ve had. "

"The hotel could be described as a simple, quiet, romantic getaway, however it is quite tired - needs TLC quite badly. Could benefit from a deeper clean (bathrooms), greater maintenance (lights, switches, sockets, windows), and upgrading (heating, TVs)."

"It's a good hotel, rooms after average but very affordable which is great! I had a problem with the shower drain and i had to change rooms (not a disaster), and their air conditioning units are too old (remotes put off battery too). Overall it's a good hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, good parking lot and very quiet. Breakfast is continental (average) that is worth the price, children eat free!"

"2 day stay . Very bad smelling room even after 2 days with window open. Its clearly been lived in by a smoker and a sock was still covering the smoke detector. Really uncumfortabke beds and dirty stained sheets and matress. No lamps no cups, spoon or coffee. Even had to tune the telly myself. Very strange types walking around the corridors would not recomend. Staff were nice enough when i spoke to them. Im not the complaining type so just loughed if off as a bad experience never to be repeated. It was cheap, it was a room and close enough to airport as my doughter got flights cancelled and was stranded for a couple days. Litterally just used it to sleep in. Shop close by and family living a couple streets away"
