"Check in was ok, parking in the small Hotel car park was a good idea. Public car parks are expensive. We had an accessible room, which is in an annexe across the road (Pedestrianised), with small cobbled areas. The room was large and well appointed with a good wet room and plenty of grab rails. There was no real view. We did notice some damage on the wardrobe.The bed seemed fine until turning it back and seeing the bottom sheet untucked. A call to reception and a maid came to fix it. We went out and came back to find no duvet or top sheet due to a communication error. Another call to reception and it was fixed. Ate in the Brasserie which was very nice. Not a bad sleep, the room was quiet. But the bed was not completely comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice, but it probably pays to go early if you want a window seat EG before 8.30 am."

"Holiday Inn is always a good stay for a solo one night business trip. It is consistent and you going to get a clean room and nice breakfast. Usually they always have parking but do charge. I always stay at Holiday Inn if I can in either UK or Germany/EU. "

"No breakfast available. The lift does not work. Bath water only warm not hot. Staff were polite and helpful. Brilliant positioning within the town."

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our initial room had several moths, which was not ideal. We were aware that a wedding was taking place at the hotel; however, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep. As we were travelling with four young children, this made the situation particularly challenging. To their credit, the staff handled the situation well and moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which we were grateful for. That said, it was unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a room where the noise levels made it so difficult to rest."

"Nothing like turning up after a long journey and there is no one at the front desk. Then after pressing the button several times I saw a person in the back eating and I had to call out to him. Spare yourself from using the expensive vending machine and walk to Sainsbury on the corner of the street. You have to pay 8 pounds for parking. Ridiculous."
