"Breakfast good. Took a while for table to be ready and longer for tables to be cleared. Needed a manager directing staff to clear quicker and get ready. "
"AMAZING!!! A beautiful, very clean boutique hotel with a prime location in Fowey. The staff were friendly and helpful from the waiting staff to the barmaid to the housekeeper. A clear passion for the business that they are a part of.
The food was exceptional I only wish we had a longer stay so we will have to come again.

"This is a lovely cottage in Polruan. It’s clean and well kept. While small, it was perfect for us as a family of 4, and the views from the living room are stunning over the harbour. It’s well located with easy access to the beach, pubs, village shop and the ferry to Fowey. We had a fabulous week. "
"What a fantastic stay we had as two couples celebrating my birthday. How lucky was I to receive a complimentary room upgrade which was a great surprise.
The room had a side view overlooking the water, a comfortable king bed and spacious bathroom.
Breakfast was plentiful with so many cooked options.
The hotel was central in Fowey, so everything was easily walkable. Sitting on the terrace with a drink on the water was a really calming area.

"The location was excellent & the views to die for! Each floor had a balcony so you could take your pick of where to sit & relax. The decor was inviting, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable & the 2 bathrooms were great. The icing on the cake for us was the carpark."

"Place View is a prettily decorated, very cosy house in the heart of Fowey, with easy to access shops, restaurants and the harbour and very near the church so be ready for bells to ring all thru the night! The beds are comfy with nice linens and the big bath off the master bedroom is great to soak in after a day of walking. View from the tub is stunning! The house is so well equipped and a lovely welcome basket was gifted to us with cheese and wine. We loved it."

"Great location and well set up with everything you would need. Lovely comfy bed and couldn’t be more convenient for getting into the town. Couldn’t help but notice a couple of things though. The microwave didn’t cook which was frustrating and we noticed the cleaner turned up with a new one as we left so it was clearly something the owner was aware of. The shower leaks from the corner of the tray especially if you use the horizontal part. You can hear the neighbours when sat in the lounge and smell their cooking. Advertised as having parking when we searched for it. This couldn't be further from the truth or more inconvenient for getting in and out with your bags. "
