"Really fantastic place and a great host, so quick to reply if we had a question. Well stocked kitchen etc.The village is beautiful. Plenty of cafes, pics, Beach, rock pooling, walks. Eat to get to Teignmouth across the estuary by ferry, car or on for via the bridge. Highly recommend! Note that the fireplace is not real, but the place is so small and the heating effective it's still very cozy."

"A really lovely place to escape the busyness of life. Quiet and no light pollution, we had amazing nights sleeps! Nicely kitted out property, we loved relaxing in the gorgeous lounge. Imagine it would be even nicer in summer! Hot tub was great though we could have done with a bit more information on how to use it more efficiently. A couple of towelling robes would have been a nice addition too! Overall a really great experience."

"Had a great few days in this cosy, quirky cottage which has some lovely features. Comfy beds and plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys! Always found parking on salty lane which is a 2 minute walk from the house. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a fabulous relaxing stay at this lovely character property in Shaldon. It was very clean with a well equipped kitchen and a nice dining room and pleasant sitting room. The bedrooms were also clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was family sized with a spacious hot shower and a bath as well. There are stairs but there are stairs gates if you have children. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the house was a lovely size with the added benefit of each bedroom having their own en-suite. The kitchen was the best equipped we have seen and had a lovely sized fridge/freezer. We cooked a meal and also a breakfast whilst there and the table seated all 10 of us with additional space.
