"A very quirky house with lots to see! Four lovely bedrooms. The pool table was great and used every day. The kitchen had everything we could need.Our only niggle was that although its a house to fit up to 8 people there are only six dining chairs, and only six outdoor chairs. I also think that the crockery, cutlery and glasses are a bit random with no set of 8 of anything, or even 6! An easy fix though and not a complaint just a viewpoint Ideal for a visit to the area and a short walk to the beach and town centre"

"Room 102 location was great with a large balcony and a view to die for.paid extra. Unfortunately there was no hot water to shower for the 3 nights we stayed. Hotel let us use other rooms to shower but it was a long walk to them Staff all fantastic and helpful . Swimming pool great, garden great and easy access to the beach.. Hotel gave us a large refund which we were grateful for. If you are thinking of staying here pay the extra for rooms (family room) 102 103 and 104"

"The house was perfect for our family trip away. Everything we looked for was there, it was clean and welcoming. A treat to have all towels , bed linen and beach towels. My granddaughter walked in and said “ this is perfect” thank you so much - we’ll be back!"

"We had a lovely stay at Abi and Colin’s cottage. It was clean well appointed, with the added benefit of a parking space and a small outdoor patio-just perfect for our needs. It was within easy walking distance to the beach, pubs, shops, ferry etc. and not far to go to other attractions. Shaldon is a delightful village and we would love to return to the cottage some time in the future.Thank you, Abi and Colin."
