"Amazing! From the extremely kind and friendly host, to the clean and well decorated facilities, great place to stay. Conveniently located too (close to Dōgo park and Dōgo onsen, restaurants, foot baths). "
"The location is great. Walkable or easy to get a transport to all of the major tourist attractions and local or high end shopping. Variety of restaurant and coffee shops around the hotel. "
"Nice hotel, not fussy but clean and efficient. Staff very helpful and rooms are basic. Breakfast is great with healthier choices than most. Will stay again. They have lockers to store luggage. "

"I’m posting this or my son who just stayed there. He said that he almost hesitated because of some of the bad reviews, but after staying there, he didn’t understand why they would have left them. He said it’s a very traditional Japanese place to stay which he appreciated. He is not in Japan to stay in American style hotels. Also, the price cannot be beat. He said he would absolutely stay there again and really appreciated everything about the place."
"The Japanese style room is as close to a ryokan stay as you can get. Try the Japanese breakfast - both the Japanese and western breakfast was plentiful, nutritious and tasty. Staff service, friendliness and attentiveness was impeccable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Around the corner to the Dogo Onsen (historic onsen that recently
reopened) although we didn’t visit, seeing the building (at night) is impressive. We can to visit the shrines and do a tiny Henro - this is walkable to the Ishitige Shrine and others close by. Wonderful stay - and getting a room with the in room onsen was very a nice indulgence. "
