"Very close to the castle for a nice visit and tram lines to get around the city "
"If you would like experience Japan life style 50 years ago, this is the hotel for you. The staff were good and supportive. The hotel is centrally located from the dining area and main Japanese Onsen in Matsuyama. "
"The Japanese style room is as close to a ryokan stay as you can get. Try the Japanese breakfast - both the Japanese and western breakfast was plentiful, nutritious and tasty. Staff service, friendliness and attentiveness was impeccable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Around the corner to the Dogo Onsen (historic onsen that recently
reopened) although we didn’t visit, seeing the building (at night) is impressive. We can to visit the shrines and do a tiny Henro - this is walkable to the Ishitige Shrine and others close by. Wonderful stay - and getting a room with the in room onsen was very a nice indulgence. "
