"This is the old Outrigger hotel. Best part is access to Dusit Thani which has better restaurants, newer building and view of the sunset than the beach resort. We did have the ocean front room and it was spacious and clean. Beautiful view of the sunset. Staff was cordial when approached but we didn’t interact or see them too much to be honest. All in all a good visit. I would want to stay at Dusit Thani next time to see that experience. "

"I called ahead of time to see if I could try to check in early and they said the earliest is 2:30pm. I got there at 2:45 and the room wasn’t ready even after the 3:00 check in time. So that was bust since I was already late to set up the room. Then on the first room the carpet felt wet and it seemed like the air condition wasn’t working properly. "It was a great stay and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was the black out curtains. They need to install real ones. Also do to the thinness of the connecting room door, I highly recommend not putting single people next to families. It was only one night, but we could really hear the couple next door getting it on. It was pretty traumatizing for our kids."
