"This is one of the two hotels I stayed in Bergen. I have to say that this is by far the more superior choice than Skostredet. The room (including bathroom) is much more spacious; breakfast much better; service from front desk staff to dining room staff all consistently provide a warm, welcoming and helpful demeanor. During my 3 night stay in Bergen, this is where I felt the Norwegian hospitality. And oh, the rate is much more reasonable than other places with similar amenities and services."

It's also a short walk (about .3 miles?) to where you can take the funicular to the top of the mountain. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were very happy with our stay here."

Breakfast had a great selection and we were able to take a packed lunch of our picking for our day out. Would definitely choose Scandic again."
