"It takes only a minute’s walk from the train station. Clean room with simplistic design. Only the pillows and bedding were a bit too soft for me. "

"The hotel was in a great location, the staff were great and the view of the harbour was first class. It was a shame the windows hadn't been cleaned for a while but they did open up as one unit allowing unspoilt views and photos. The room was generally clean but the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guest and there were a few hairs on the bedding, thus the lower score but really everything else was spotless. The staff were great, really helpful and the buffet breakfasts there...

"This was the second hotel we stayed at during our 10-day trek through Norway. It was in the PERFECT location for us to walk virtually everywhere, and anywhere that wasn’t close by, transit was super close and we could just hop on the light rail and head off. We only had one full day in Bergen and this was the perfect home base!"

"Great budget hotel, I like the concept. I booked a single bed room, basic but for the purpose for short stay. My only negative is the bed was too small, I’m below average size and I almost fell twice from the bed!!!! Location is perfect, make sure you have your booking reference to kiosk check in, I didn’t have one as I didn’t receive any email and had to find someone to help."

"This place is a gem. Incredibly nicely decorated, plenty of places in house to sit. French feel, nicely decorated and configued. Staff incredibly friendly and welcoming, breakfast great. Bergen right outside hotel door. "

"Very comfortable bed and room. The breakfast was the most amazing. Staff packed a boxed breakfast for our final day since we had to leave early. My only complaint is that there wasn’t an electrical outlet in the bathroom or close to a mirror."

"This was a lovely comfortable and very quiet hotel to spend the night in after arriving at Bergen airport at midnight for a business trip. I walked down the hill from the airport to the hotel in around 5 mins and was immediately checked in. The room was spacious and well appointed. Comfortable bed, decent shower and good mirrors and lighting. Kettle and drinks in room."

"A modern well kept hotel entered via the REMA1000 supermarket. I found the external noise until gone 2am, happened by a group of many persons less fortunate than many, around the church opposite very intrusive. I would also give that corner of the square a wide berth. The room was compact but clean and a good breakfast was offered."

"Due to city permitting process, the hotel wasn't open when I arrived. They had tried to call me, but I didn't answer the phone as I didn't recognize the number. They had already booked me into a sister property with a better room down the street. Not their fault that I was tired, cranky, my back hurt from dragging my suitcase around on cobblestone sidewalks and my phone's battery was almost dead. They manager on duty let me in, charged my phone for me, offered me a drink, and called the other...
