Although we are local to the area, my husband stayed here for 3 nights while he was sick to avoid getting our infant sick 😬 he was very happy with his stay, said it was clean and in a good area. He said if we ever have to get a hotel in Fresno he will definitely want to rebook here! Thank you "

"Needed to stop over in Bakersfield coming home after a Memorial Day trip. The Padre Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has a very nice ambiance, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and wel appointed. The food was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. "

"This location was cool cause it was really close to the hotel plus a restaurant connected to it that gives you options of food for only $7 a plate so we had dinner for like $20 and you get to choose five breakfast options for free. They’re nice meals too, It wasn’t a breakfast buffet. One meal was an 2egg/cheese omelette with hashbrowns, toast, and sausage. The pool is nice too. The hot tub could’ve been cleaner and warmer, but it is still a nice option to have on a cooler night. We stayed here memorial day 2025 on our way back to Seattle. The room was really nice with the king bed on the pool level so we were able to go out the sliding door straight out to the pool. The bed was super comfortable. We slept for like 14 hours."

"Love the location. Room was decent. Bed was comfortable. I liked the fact that I could walk around the area and remember what it was like in that same location some 58 years ago. Stockton is just one of those cities that never really lived up to its fullest potential. Some nice areas and some not so nice areas. To bad that can’t revive the downtown with all of its rich history.Didnt see many homeless"

"Good and clean property. Has lot of parking space, has microwave and refrigerator. You need to drive 15 minutes for food options. If you are staying here during your Sequoia national park visit, be aware that it is far. It's a 1 hour drive to the park entrance and then another 1 hour drive within the park to get to the main attractions. "
