"To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. "The hotel and island were beautiful. Very quiet. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of the staff speak English and Spanish. But most only speak Spanish. So if your Spanish is limited you may need to use a translator on your phone. But it is pretty easy to order food and plan activities even if your spanish is limited. It is possible to do almost everything with a credit card or US dollars. But I recommend bringing colombian mil pesos as it will be much easier. The food was amazing....
