"A great location if you're looking for somewhere away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Midtown Manhattan. Easy access to Staten Island and the ferries. Really quick metro links to Midtown, Lower East Side and Upper West Side. Really helpful staff. Pick a river view room on an upper floor and you won't be disappointed. Only slight negative is the room doors bang very loudly when they close - but I get that they are big fire doors."

The hotel definitely needs some renovations, as it was a bit janky, but we still enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location."
