"The only negative is noise. Right outside is the taxi parking spot. So early in the morning the taxi drivers are loud talking where you can’t sleep like at 5am.
Plus, cars passing by with loud music.

"The only Pro is a great location. Everything else is negative.
The instructions were provided only at 10 a.m., when you should check in. I was already driving at that time without even knowing the exact address where I was going.
Parking is on the street. You can arrange an overnight parking for $10 but it is possible only when you contact them before 5 pm. I have arrived at 4.40 pm and called several times but no one responded.
Another option was text messaging. I have tried that too. No...

Ponce is a very unique city worth exploring. The architecture is beautiful, and the city looks like the French Quarter in New Orleans but painted in Caribbean pastels.

Ponce still seems to be recovering from the hurricanes and earthquake, and many places are closed for restoration. Lots of businesses are also closed, so parts of the city have a rather depressed feel. But, it's colorful and the people are friendly.

Ponce tiene mucho potencial. Hay que buscar la manera de llevar más Ponceños al centro de la ciudad y que dejen de comprar en los centros comerciales para darle vida al pueblo. No se resuelve con traer más tursitas nada más.

Currently many places are being rehabilitated which I assume is due to the unfortunate number of hurricane and earthquakes that hit Ponce recently. The older downtown area is interesting to see and walk through.

Ponce has interesting architecture and walkable areas. Many of the buildings are abandoned or very run down in the old part of the city. The museums are only open on certain days and some are closed.

Es preocupante el abandono de la ciudad. Las calles muy deterioradas y la cantidad de personas sin hogar alarmante.
