"This place looks just like their pictures! Its an amazing place. I loved the bungalows right in front of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and arranged room. No phones; not even to call the front desk. The Bistro is amazing! Happy hour 3-5pm. Drinks are great. Food is beautifully presented and tasty. Service was excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you have US dollars with you for tipping as there is no bank or ATM nearby. Belize City airport doesn't have currency exchange either. Bring the benjamins from the US. "

"We went on a birthday trip with 8 ladies and this villa was perfect! The location is great and the house is beautiful. It's right on the beach! Everyone had their own bed and each room had it's own private entrance. We had a lot of fun getting to town on the golf carts. All of the on-site staff were very helpful and wonderful to us during our stay. The concierge, Erica was so great from the day we booked this place, she was so helpful with the planning of meals and excursions and was always available if we had any questions or concerns while there too! The chef made delicious meals and really made it easy for all of us with dietary restrictions. And don't forget about the cutest villa cat "mission" who entertained us with his daily naps and nocturnal energy! I would say the only negative thing we experienced was figuring out the separate grocery/chef and tip bills at the end of trip. Getting that all figured out was not fun, I would suggest that gecko reservations finds a better method for that."

"We had 10 friends for a birthday gathering and these units were perfect. The two units are connected by balcony and can sleep 12 people. Having two kitchens was perfect! The host met us at checkin and gave us a run down of facility and the best places to eat. We were about 7 miles from downtown Placencia so the resort was nice and quiet. The pool was perfect as well as swimming off the private dock. Beach was well manicured with corn hole and volleyball. Kayaks and bikes were available for use. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"
