We loved meeting the warm and lovely people! The Garifuna drummers at Driftwood were fantastic, and the pizza was delicious, as we mostly ate seafood the whole trip. Loved the village and the laid back atmosphere.

Hopkins is my FAVORITE beach village in all of Belize! The people, the still slower pace, less crowded than San Pedro or Placencia.

It's really slow in the off season (October). We had the resort and town to ourselves, but lots of restaurants/bars are closed or empty.
