Amazing food options close by. They also offered some surprises for my husband’s birthday. It was a great stay and we will be back. "

"Beautiful place in the heart of Hopkins village. The locals are amazing. So glad we stayed on this end of the village rather than opting for the resorts. We heard a bit of karaoke on Saturday night, but it was otherwise quiet. The beach smells and sound of the waves inundate the cabin. You really are right on the beach!"

"We had a cute ocean front cabana just 50 feet or so from the water. There were always empty lounge chairs and hammocks available to use. Restaurants with great food and sometimes entertainment were just a short walk by road or right along the beach. The hostess Arlene was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing time and opportunity to experience the local Garifuna culture."

"Our family of 20 (ages 2 to 72) had a fantastic time together at the Shedrock Shangrila. There was plenty of space, and the pool and beach were a big hit. Kayaks, paddleboards and bicycles were all used by our group. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Hopkins village. Wonderful stay overall."
