"Beautiful place to stay with 1st class service. Far enough out of town for peace but only 5 minutes outside of town. Their food was excellent and reasonably priced compared to town. Definitely get a golf cart. "

"When we arrived to Brisa we were escorted to our room by staff and given a quick tour of the room. We quickly noticed that we did not have a pull out couch (we booked the 2 bedroom with 3 beds beach access) and when one of my guests went to inform staff and initially received an attitude that we “did not rent the cot as we were supposed to”. I then had to go and speak with staff myself which I believe I spoke with a manager who was then quick to remedy the situation as we did indeed book 3 beds, not a cot. They went and swapped out the couch with another room that did have the pull out bed which was appreciated. We also inquired about our VIP welcome cocktails, which staff went to go get more supplies to make those for us. Beach was ten steps away from our room and several steps away from “the boardwalk” which leads through the town with shops and other hotels and restaurants. Room stayed cold, size of rooms were great, technically 2 balconies with our room. This easy access also allows almost anyone to walk through or on the property, so just something to be aware of. We were aware the Sargassum was an issue, but we were upset about the lack of trying to clean up at least the garbage stuck within the sargassum on the beach, it was really dirty, we’ve posted pictures. We were unable to swim far enough out to have clear water. Towards the right of the property in the corner of the beach seemed to be better. Property next door has a small pool and bar they allowed us to use"

"This was our 4th time visiting Placencia and we really enjoyed the VRBO stay. The pool was clean and perfect temperature. The furnishings were nice inside and out with clean updated rooms. The ground and landscaping gave the relaxing feel outside to enjoy the birds, fox and iguanas.The grill and kitchen made it easy to cook local cuisine and the fridge and icemaker were nice for drinks.The only downside would be lights and locks were difficult to figure out. The jack and jill bath lacked of privacy, and and one bed wasn't the most comfortable.The gravel roads and pot holes on the driveway are just par for the course in Belize. We all enjoyed our 5 days and would stay there again. "
