"This home was absolutely amazing. The location was perfect. The pool was very refreshing. All the beds were very comfortable. I don't have one bad thing to say about our stay. We hired Ida to cook a breakfast and dinner for us and it was wonderful. We cooked alot of our meals at the house and all the basic cooking needs were provided. "

"This property is amazing. It’s so unique and in a great location - far enough from Placencia village to be quiet but an easy golf cart ride away and walkable to Maya Beach. The property manager was so easy to work with and kindly arranged for our golf cart and shuttle to and from Belize City. She had great recommendations for food and activities. This property does not have a private pool. It is private to the Swan Villas - which has 5 units. This listing is for 3/5. The beds are not exactly king size - as shown in the photos the beds are round and may not be roomie enough for two tall people. I’m 5’10” and had to sleep at an angle. The mattresses are thin and firm, fine for a couple of nights but would have been very uncomfortable long term. "

"Great house for 2 couples; we loved it and Maya Beach! Only complaint about the house was the kitchen trashcan was the size of a small bath trashcan, and there were 4 of us for one week! That didn’t work at all! Good restaurant options in Maya Beach - highly recommend renting a golf cart to get around & into the village. We weren’t told that before but it is a long, hot dark walk for cocktails/dinner to all but a couple of restaurants. Sunset is early (6 ish). We got lucky to be able to rent a golf cart for 4 days. Excursion to Xunantunich & Jaguar Paw cave tubing was wonderful, just need a whole day (several hours’ drive). The Vacasa concierge service was awesome & we had an incredible tour guide. Bring lots of cash to Belize; the ATM machines rarely worked for us everywhere we went! Belize is still a cash economy. "

"this is such a fun property, that felt like a mix between a cob home and something out of fantasy novel. It’s beautiful and with the bikes, kayak’s and pool, it’s a great place stay and I would do it again in heart beat. "

"First the positives:Beautiful location. Great beach. Beautiful pool and deck area. Large rooms. Outstanding staff. Ernesto was awesome, a tireless worker who did an amazing job of keeping the property and grounds immaculate. Chef Salvador was outstanding. His meals were fantastic and very healthy. Always fresh!Housekeeper Arielle’s (sp?) was so sweet and helpful.Opportunities for improvement:Deck chair cushions were filthy and had black stains on them. Some parts of outdoor couch unusable because cushions were so waterlogged Pictures showed roof top furniture but upon arrival there was none. Very disappointingKitchen incredibly dark. Not enough or bright enough lighting. I have no idea how Salvador worked in that environment For a home of this calibre and cost to rent the kitchen appliances were such low calibre. For 6 people you need more than a two slice cheapy toaster. Same for the coffee maker- it is the cheapest model imaginable The bed linens were not up to standard for a home of this cost. Cheap polyester sheets suck!Bedroom and dining room furniture was good but living room furniture was lacking. For an eight person house you could only comfortably seat 5 people. As well the one love seat was very poor quality So overall that’s why only a three rating. If not for the quality of the staff the rating would have been lower."
