"What a beautiful place from which to explore Placencia!We booked la rotonda for a family birthday bash and loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable (although most a bit small, except for the one king bed). The house has been recently remodeled, with a modern well-equipped kitchen, two spacious dining areas (one indoors, one on a screened porch) and a comfortable living area. Just outside is an ample shaded deck space and a lovely saltwater infinity pool. A few steps further and you're at the water's edge, where you can easily go for a swim. The location was convenient to the airport and local stores, and the house felt very safe and private, in a gated compound, with caretakers on the property.The owners and staff were super kind and helpful. Maritza cooked us a delicious typical Belizean dinner for our big birthday party, complete with a yummy chocolate cake. The two dogs who live on the property were absolutely delightful, and showed up as soon as we did, ready to move in. Against the rules, sadly, but we enjoyed their playful daily visits We only stayed for three nights, but would definitely come back for a longer visit!!"

"The staff was amazing. Shelly and Adriana were so accommodating, kind and considerate of our needs. I was there a week by myself as my daughter was on a dive trip and I felt very safe and secure. Santiago, kept the grounds clean and was very friendly and kind."

"Our cottage had a wonderful beach view and was at the end of the property. It had a screened in porch and a beautiful interior which was clean and spacious. We were only a few feet away from the "Adult Pool" which we swam in every day. The staff were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond in everything, including our dining and arranging our two excursions. We loved the Sunset Cruise around Placencia Bay and the Monkey River Tour was very interesting. If you do the Monkey River make sure you bring plenty of insect repellent and a hat. The mosquitoes were everywhere! Other than that we had a fabulous stay and will surely be back. It's a real gem in paradise!"

"Loved our stay. Best pool In Placencia which helped as our stay was when sargassum was in the water. Great continental breakfast and restaurant was great for lunch and dinner too. Service was great too. Loved Placencia."

"The room was a disappointment given the price point. The sliding glass door on one-side was shattered, one of the bathroom windows was also broken, the left sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and or close ( eventually fixed) the sofa and comforter cover were both stained. I felt that my complaints were met with frustration by the front desk staff. I actually considered leaving for $473 a night I was frustrated all solutions were a take away, we-booked an ocean view with a king bed, we were offered 2 doubles garden view. The positive was the food and bar manager that listened and at least offered us a free dinner! Most of the team were exceptional "

"Our family of 11, including 3 generations, spent a week at Ohana-Pikni Beach House and one of the adjoining houses. The main house was spacious and well maintained. The pool area is exactly as pictured and was enjoyed by all of us. The staff was on site daily to clean and straighten up both the inside and the dining and pool areas. The owners were easy to contact when needed. Our chef, Damian, was extremely personable and accomodating. He made delicious traditional and Belizean meals, even cooking the fish our guys caught. He also offered suggestions of things to do and places to visit during our stay. We used the other activities available on the property, especially the kayaks/paddle boards, volleyball court, and the bags and outdoor Jenga games. The indoor pool and foosball tables were a great distraction on the two days of our trip it was raining (I know--it's not supposed to rain in March!). We had a wonderful trip just being together, and Ohana-Pikni Beach House was a great choice for our family. "
