"The room was a disappointment given the price point. The sliding glass door on one-side was shattered, one of the bathroom windows was also broken, the left sliding glass door wouldn’t lock and or close ( eventually fixed) the sofa and comforter cover were both stained. I felt that my complaints were met with frustration by the front desk staff. I actually considered leaving for $473 a night I was frustrated all solutions were a take away, we-booked an ocean view with a king bed, we were offered 2 doubles garden view. The positive was the food and bar manager that listened and at least offered us a free dinner! Most of the team were exceptional "

"For the money, Brisa Oceano is a great place to stay in Placencia. Very close to pretty much everything Placencia has to offer (including municipal pier and tours), very friendly, accomodating staff, good tap water, great water pressure, beach, free kayaks, and more. There were some issues with the room itself (doorstops in bad places, tight quarters in some areas) but overall, Brisa Oceano was great."

"Our family of 11, including 3 generations, spent a week at Ohana-Pikni Beach House and one of the adjoining houses. The main house was spacious and well maintained. The pool area is exactly as pictured and was enjoyed by all of us. The staff was on site daily to clean and straighten up both the inside and the dining and pool areas. The owners were easy to contact when needed. Our chef, Damian, was extremely personable and accomodating. He made delicious traditional and Belizean meals, even cooking the fish our guys caught. He also offered suggestions of things to do and places to visit during our stay. We used the other activities available on the property, especially the kayaks/paddle boards, volleyball court, and the bags and outdoor Jenga games. The indoor pool and foosball tables were a great distraction on the two days of our trip it was raining (I know--it's not supposed to rain in March!). We had a wonderful trip just being together, and Ohana-Pikni Beach House was a great choice for our family. "

"Our cabana had 2 beds, for 3 persons cabana #3. Description was real and honest, A/C worked and helped with the bar noise. The beach was taken care of, clean, all recommendations were spot on and appreciated. The cabana did not have the second doors with the net only. The water pressure in the shower seemed weak, but it was enough even to wash my long hair, so no problem. We would appreciate more hooks on the walls or a stool to put our suitcase on. We had amazing 3 nights!"

"We had the most incredible stay at The Rotunda. Everything about this property was amazing. From check in to check out and everything in between we could not have asked for more. The property itself had it all. Plenty of space for 2 families with 4 kids 9-13. We enjoyed many days swimming In the pool, playing volleyball, fishing from the shores, and enjoying the board games at night. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed. The best part however was definitely Ruben and Maritza! They are truly one of a kind and amazing house managers. They helped us prior to arrival making reservations and booking tours. Once there they were willing to help with everything and kept the house and grounds immaculate. They cooked 3 meals for us and they were truly incredible and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed getting to know them as well. We were sad to leave after a week at this property!Great house, perfect location, amazing property and truly the best in Ruben and Martiza! Wonderful vacation all around! "
