"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable holiday!! ❤️ "

"Very nice resort. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a lot variety of food. During our stay was my wife birthday and the management of the resort surprise us with a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. The resort is in good central location. "Check-in was very easy and it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of food available and I never went hungry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a pretty good location. There are dining options within a ten minute walk and a small grocery store (SPAR) that is also a ten minute walk in case you forgot something. "
