"Really amazing stay at this hotel. Hotel was gorgeous and in a really nice area near Funchal. Walkable to many restaurants. The staff were really friendly and provided great service. We had the superior ocean view room on the top floor which had amazing views and a private balcony with sun loungers. Included breakfast buffet had a variety of nice food, good start to each day. Free parking in the hotel. Highly recommend staying here! "

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! "Very nice resort. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffet with a lot variety of food. During our stay was my wife birthday and the management of the resort surprise us with a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. The resort is in good central location.
