"Wow, what an amazing holiday. The hotel was fabulous, right on the beach and very quiet. The villa was huge with our own plunge pool and amazing sea view. The staff were so friendly and helpful - We speak no Spanish but the staff mostly spoke good English and also taught us a few words of Spanish too. The hotel arranged so many trips/transfers and hire car for us - they were so efficiant with excellent communication, they made the holiday so much easier thank you. The cleaning staff did an amazing job keeping our rooms lovely and fresh, and all the staff were cheerful and friendly, even the gardeners always said hello and smiled. We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and our first proper holiday for many years - it did not disappoint, and we will be back! Areas to note - our plunge pool had a few loose tiles but nothing that effected its use. Our villa had a large lounge/kitchen and seperate bedroom at the back. It was huge but almost too big for 2 people and the bedroom does not have the sea view. This is a personal thing and in no way detrimental to our trip. There is very little walkable so a car is a must."

"This is an amazing property with a terrific staff. My wife and I had a wonderful time. When we checked in there was a sloth and a macaw right outside our room. We really enjoyed the monkeys. I give them a 10/10. Only negative would be the beach that is within taking distance of the resort. It's a long treacherous walk down a rocky slippery hill where you are eventually met by a couple of unfriendly locals trying to rent you a chair, in our case for $20. We declined. There is sand on the beach but as soon as you hit water it's nothing but rocks, rocks, rocks. Water was great though! Don't let this part deter you, just have them shuttle you to the main beach at Manuel Antonio! "

"Very quant small boutique accommodation in a secluded area of Quopes about 30 minute drive away. Right on a beautiful beach which black sand. More of a location for decompresion than chocked full of activities. Miles of beach to walk on, especially good at low tide where a 100 yards of the beach is exposed. Owner is fabulous, help me set up day trips. Have to drive down a dirt road 3 miles to get to the resort. Again, isolated area."

"Wonderful hotel on the beach with sprawling pools (swim up bar included, could benefit from a slide or two- then would be perfect for families) and multiple dining options. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and the staff is super friendly. The beach is safe for swimming and has shade options but isn't the most beautiful- sand is fine but rocky in places and could benefit from lounges and umbrellas. The view, however, is incredible, with the offshore island keeping the bay safe and calm. Also a huge benefit that you can walk to the nearby marina shopping area with restaurants and stores and a wonderful cafe/dessert place. Overall a wonderful stay."
