We saw many monkeys around the property but they did not interfere. We stayed in the suite rooms building, great room but only issue was some street noise; not a deal breaker! "My family stayed at Alma Del Pacífico for four nights during the “rainy season” after driving from our stay in La Fortuna. We didn’t mind the late day rain at all. We were able to get all the daily activities in before it started. The beach is as everyone has described, flat and walkable. We were able to swim with the waves, even our seven year old. Perfect for surfing, and our oldest took the opportunity with Brett’s Boards. There are more sand dollars than we have ever seen! Breakfast options were filling, and everyone was so nice! Our room faced the ocean with a small wading pool. Each villa has its own outdoor privacy wall with small garden area. Seriously perfect and exactly what we envisioned with no crowds. I would stay again in a heartbeat!"

The staff was warm, eager to make us feel welcome, prepared yummy local breakfast, and connected us to wonderful tours. It felt like we were in a living painting.
