Definitely recommend renting a car and booking more time to get full use of the services and activities located at the hotel and beyond. They upgraded us to a room with a private pool which was also amazing. Some of the service was hit and miss from the staff, but overall very pleasant and relaxing stay! "

"Check-in was very easy and it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of food available and I never went hungry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a pretty good location. There are dining options within a ten minute walk and a small grocery store (SPAR) that is also a ten minute walk in case you forgot something. "

When we arrived, the children were greeted with lovely welcome gifts, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The outdoor saltwater pool had a very comfortable temperature, and the nearby hot-water Jacuzzi was a perfect place to relax. There’s also a warm indoor pool inside the hotel, ideal for children and great for any weather. If I ever dreamed of coming back to Madeira, it would definitely be to this hotel. "The hotel is in a great location, with a walkable area and a lot of restaurants around it. We stayed in a room with pool view and were actually able to walk out the room and go straight to the pool. There also was an ocean view from our room, although we never got down to the beach. The staff was friendly and all the amenities were fine. Free parking was limited, especially since it was also being used by the locals. "
