"Absolutely beautiful property. We were here celebrating my partner's birthday and they had a bottle of champagne waiting in our room and waived the parking fee. The spa is fantastic, although $35 per person per day just to use the pool and jacuzzi there is a little bit steep. "

"We loved staying at Enotel Sunset Bay. Ponta do Sol is a fantastic location on Madeira. The hotel is right in front of the ocean and beach and all rooms have ocean views.We stayed on the 4th floor in the seaview rooms with balcony. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well-equiped. The 4th floor is where the roof top deck is located. It was a great place to soak in some sunshine and relax after a day of hiking. The indoor pool was also a bonus. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of great choices. There is free underground parking, but it is somewhat difficult to get into and can get full. Overall, this is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend."

"What a lovely place ! Perfect location for all the hiking we wanted to do! Pool steam bath and sauna were great after 25000 steps! Thank you for the quiet sanctuary ! "

"The hotel itself is located in a beautiful and quieter part of the island, well away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, which is very orientated towards tourists , busy and very hilly. The hotel and the area has a more relaxed atmosphere and environment as you are located in a town which is more realistic of the real traditional Madeira. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, spotless with fantastic views of the sea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are happy to go the extra mile to help with any additional needs you might have. As a disabled daily wheelchair ♿️ user the help from the staff was greatly appreciated. There are no large hills to or from the hotel to the town centre, restaurants, shops, banks etc and the beach to have to negotiate unlike Funchal thankfully. I would be more than happy to return for another stay at the hotel and area."
