"Prachtig huis, heel veel ruimte. zonder problemen kunnen hier vier kinderen en zes volwassenen verblijven. Duidelijk is wel dat het huis van eigenaar is gewisseld en er nog wat zaken moeten worden aangepakt. wij waren hier de tweede week van september, prachtig weer en veel gebruik gemaakt van het heerlijke zwembad."

"Villa Rene is very spacious and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The heated pool was lovely and the opening and closing of the cover was very simple. We were greeted by Geoff who showed us everything and explained how to use the more complicated items including the TV which you can get all the UK channels. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une villa magnifique et très bien entretenue. La villa est spacieuse, agréable, bien équipée ; elle est entourée d'un magnifique jardin arboré, avec une grande piscine chauffée. L'environnement est très calme. Il y a beaucoup de sites à voir aux alentours (Carcassonne, Minerve, grotte du Limousis, canal du Midi ...). Edith et Pascal, les propriétaires, nous ont très bien accueillis et ont été de bon conseil pour les visites."

Set in a peaceful village but near enough to places of interest and the sea, it was ideally position. Definitely somewhere we would stay again!"

"Villa Rani is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting on the edge of a small village. It has a light and airy feel and is decorated, furnished and equipped to a very good standard. Having access to an immaculately maintained swimming pool is a further attraction. The garden around the villa has a natural feel and there are numerous places for sitting and outdoor eating. "Lovely villa, I've never rented a property that was so well equipped. Beautiful pool and gardens. Lots of places to sit with a glass of wine. A shame the restaurant in the village is closed but beautiful surrounding countryside."

"The property and pool were larger than I was expecting. Handy location with a bakery and Lidl 10 minutes walk away. We caught the bus just across the road to the lake and enjoyed the water park and inflatables there. Great to be able to walk to the castle. Susan was very kind and helpful."

"We spent a lovely week here in July, a family of 5 with children ranging from 3-12. The villa was the ideal home from home for us. Located overlooking vineyards on the edge of Palaja the villa is ideally located within walking distance of the village centre and yet very private. In the village there is collection of shops which include a boulangerie, small supermarket, pharmacy, a small eatery serving pizza, cheeses and drinks, and a fine butchers. There is also a nice restaurant on the edge of...

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
