"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"The persons at the reception were very nice and helpful . The apartment we had was on the ground overlooking nature (with trails).well equipped: stove, diswasher, microwave, refrigerator At this timeof the year not too many people, so it was quiet. The snack bar was not open (only summer ) but we had excellent recommendations for restaurants near by. I understood that it is a place for families and long stay in the summer: beautiful lake, swimming, trails …,"

"One of best places I have stayed at. Rooms are new and perfectly clean. Friendly service. Just a short walk up the street to the medieval city. Very highly recommend!!!!!"

"Todo genial! Los anfitriones super amables, muy buena ubicación, piso muy bien decorado y con todo lo necesario, incluido secador, cafetera + capsulas. Sólo a tener en cuneta que no hay ascensor y las habitaciones estan en el piso superior por lo que recomiendo llevar equipaje lijero. Muy muy recomendable, si volvemos a Carcassone repetimos seguro!"

"I was not expecting to make my own bed or have to strip my own bed . The pics on Hotel.com rather give a false view of the property . It is a holiday camp style and very basic. No soap etc in bathrooms . Staff were lovely but very disappointed, I thought it was a hotel . "

Located overlooking vineyards on the edge of Palaja the villa is ideally located within walking distance of the village centre and yet very private. In the village there is collection of shops which include a boulangerie, small supermarket, pharmacy, a small eatery serving pizza, cheeses and drinks, and a fine butchers. There is also a nice restaurant on the edge of...
