They charge for parking, which is surprising in a town of this size and given it is an outside parking lot not all of which is paved; however, they will quickly advise you that you can park for free across the street, which we did. "From the moment I walked in the door, this hotel surprised and amazed me. The hotel smelt so lovely as soon as I walked in the door. New recruit Martyn was smiling behind the counter when I arrived and went way over and above to give me so much information about the hotel and the surrounding area. He looked absolutely dashing and obviously takes a lot of pride in his uniform and his position with this hotel. A true professional who was kind, courteous and obliging. Not sure how old the hotel is...
