"Excellent location, friendly staff, good lounge and breakfast- ideal"

"Excellent location and very friendly staff. We spent two nights here to experience the Arctic region of Norway. While our conducted tour to the fjords was cancelled due to bad weather, it gave us the opportunity to enjoy the Paris of the north i.e., Tromso. Due to its central location we were able to walk to the Polaris Museum, the Radhus (Town Hall), the City Library, the Cathedral, and eat at some nice restaurants including the one in the hotel itself. "

"We greatly enjoyed our stay! It is convenient to shopping and restaurants and has a beautiful view of the harbour and mountains! Staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet has many many incredible offerings, including gluten free grains, bread, and much more! 4 varieties of pickled herring! The Chef is friendly and knowledgeable about GF items."

"The rooms are great but it is harder not having anyone on reception to enquire about parking or any other matters. It could be signposted and the parking site needs cleaning up and marking out. Thanks for a good stay. "
