"We had a great time. The staff and owners were lovely. The patio at the back of the hotel was great with amazing views. There was a little traffic noise but it didn’t spoil our stay. Great food. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"House nice, well equipped, very comfy beds, in decent proximity to places to visit by car, nice park a short walk away (uphill) and Tesco a walk away. Bath decent and shower very good. We stayed for 4 nights. Two adults, a 1 year old plus dog. Be aware - Parking! Something of a nightmare. There is not free parking easy to hand, all parking is for permit holders only and this house has not gained a permit for guests. This means your car cannot be by your property for more than two hours, then moved out for 4 hours before you can come back. If you have a sleeping baby this is just not great. Parking very limited also, hard to unload car if there is not a space nearby. We parked second car (we are from 2 households) in the car park down the hill £9 for the week was simplest option. Garden is open to neighbours, so we had to always monitor dog and child. Plus a steep drop for a walking toddler with no barrier onto garden lawn and steep concrete steps at bottom of garden. Nice garden for adults and older children, decent size but be careful with younger ones. Walk to anywhere is very steep! Hard work with a pram but doable. Neighbour at no. 4 vey helpful and friendly, lent us a gate to stop the dog/baby from going into the neighbours garden. Cooker needs a degree in electronics to work hob! All in all we thought place was good enough that we had nice stay, and we would use this place again but be less stressful now we know about the parking juggling."

"Can't thank Jez and Lou enough for their warm hospitality. The cottage is perfectly located, facilities are brillaint and lots of lovely touches like an honesty fridge by the pool and fresh wildflowers on arrival in the cottage. Will defintely be returning."

"A wonderfully historic house with an equally wonderful garden, location and views. So very peaceful. Only a quick drive to Launceston for provisions. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. Lots of games for the garden and indoor board games for family fun. It was hard to drag ourselves away to go enjoy all the fun things to do in the area. The owner provided a very comprehensive list."
